Ministry, Family & House Update

It has been a busy summer and I haven’t been good about updating. We had a lot of our staff from the U.S. join us in Nicaragua and the camp was full and busy for June and part of July. The kids have been enjoying a break from school but they have also been working with the ministry and excited to share the Gospel message. It always blesses Phillip and I to see our kids bravely stand up in front of others to profess Jesus Christ.

There is a lot to say about what has been going on in our lives, our family and the work we do for the ministry. I have included some videos to give you an idea of the ministry work we have been doing and some of our favorite pictures from the summer.

On a personal note, our house here in Nicaragua is coming along well. We still need to raise an estimated $5,000-$6,000 to finish it up. Here is what we still need to do (in no specific order):

  1. Pour the concrete floor on the bottom level
  2. Tile throughout
  3. Plumbing throughout
  4. Paint on walls
  5. Toilets/showers/sinks bought and installed
  6. Kitchen cabinets bought and installed
  7. Windows bought and installed
  8. Ceiling bought and installed

We are excited to see the progress and we are all looking forward to moving day! Please continue to keep our family in your prayers as we work and serve the Lord together in Nicaragua.
