Happy New Year from the Zincks

The past few months have been a whirlwind. The past year, really. The construction of our new home, more groups coming to Nicaragua, the on-going projects in Arenal…it has all added up to a very busy, but very blessed, year. Now, we are at the end of it, and looking forward to what will be coming next.

We are especially excited to be living in our new (and bigger) house. We moved in December 9th, carrying mattresses and necessities over into the late hours just to be able to spend our first night in the new place. We had a group soon after, and they blessed us by spending some of their time installing things and painting cabinets. Since then, we have truly enjoyed spending time together as a family. We sit around our table just to play games, we gather in the kitchen to bake cookies, we lounge in the living room to watch a movie…all things we have not been able to do in a long time.

I have a lot more updates about the ministry work that has happened and what is coming, but for now, I would like to just wish you a Happy New Year. It has really blown us away to see the outpouring of love from family and friends for our family this past year, and we cannot thank you enough for supporting our family in so many ways. From our house, to the financial support, words of encouragement and friendships with our children, we have truly felt the love of so many people. We pray 2018 finds your homes filled with the love of family and friends and your hearts filled with the peace that comes from knowing Jesus Christ.
